The project site is located 4.5 km south of the center of Athens, in Faliro area , and a multifunctional space focusing in aspects like education, culture and entertainment. The total project budget was € 630 million.
The SNFCC is the first public-private partnership of its kind in Greece and one of the most important cultural and educational projects ever implemented in the country. As one of the largest construction projects in the recent history of the island, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center will directly benefit the Greek economy, creating jobs and increasing capital inflows, in a difficult economic environment.
Our company ALPHA ACOUSTIKI supplied all the Anti-vibration mounts and Suspension of electro-mechanical equipment in the center. The specific requirements and specifications of the project were a challenge as the specifications of the building were high not just for the local level of construction but for overall global standards.
Also in the building component and the reduction of vibration, anti-vibration gaskets used for the construction of floating floors, floating / anti-vibration wall and the vibration isolation in suspension for soundproofing of ceilings.
The project had very high acoustic specifications which VIBRO anti-vibration products complied with not only in acoustics but also in ergonomic and mechanical level.
Our company’s engineering team in collaboration with the responsible engineers of the project made the appropriate selection of anti-vibration gaskets, to meet all the project requirements.
