Mechanical vibration isolators in COSMOTE LEED certified building were implemented by Vibro. This modern office complex in Athens is designed to support a sustainable and innovative work environment. In detail, the type and vibration reduction capacity of each system were carefully assessed based on specific requirements and acoustic study data. Depending on factors like the mechanical equipment’s type, rotation speed, weight, and mounting location, spring or rubber mounts were chosen to minimize transmitted vibrations. Vibro’s anti-vibration solutions were implemented in equipment such as generators, air handling units (AHUs), chillers, and heat pumps. • Regufoam  Mixed cell polyurethane elastomer produced in different hardness grades or densities with combined spring and dampening properties. It has an extremely low natural frequency in the corresponding load ranges, resulting in high soundproofing values.
• Vibro SMR Anti-vibration spring mounts advanced design can successfully sustain forces from various directions, both vertical and lateral. At their base they have a special rubber profile, thus offering better vibration isolation efficiency also at high frequencies.
• Vibro EM2 Mechanical units mount result of specialized research made of a combination of rubber and metal-bonded parts.

LEED qualified mechanical vibration isolators in COSMOTE LEED Certified Building were used in all MEP facilities. This building is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental design) accredited building in the Balkan Peninsula.
