Electric Vehicles for Urban Transport
The company has proceeded to acquire electric and hybrid vehicles for its urban transportation, thus promoting the concept of sustainable mobility. The electric vehicles, which are charged through photovoltaic panels, exhibit zero emissions, are particularly environmentally friendly and help reduce air pollution. This choice highlights our commitment to a more sustainable operation, reinforcing our contribution to creating a better environment
Photovoltaic Panels
Our company has installed photovoltaic panels in its main building, fully covering its electricity needs. This initiative not only reduces dependence on traditional fuels, but also helps reduce the company’s carbon footprint, enhancing its environmental sensitivity.
Recycling
The company actively engages in fabric recycling, ensuring that textile waste is repurposed instead of ending up in landfills. Using special “AFIS” bins, we also recycle batteries. Additionally, we participate in the ELECTROCYCLE program to recycle old electrical devices. These efforts help conserve resources and reduce environmental pollution.
Use and Promotion of Recycled Materials
Our company utilizes and promotes the use of recycled materials for the creation of new products produced in Greece. Our product range includes products with a high content of recycled raw materials. Examples of these are:
-The new range of anti-vibration products under the trade name ReVib which use recycled car tires in their production.
–ISOLFON-ReRub, Flat Rolles produced from recycled car tires,
–ISOLFON ReBond, made from recycled foams,
–iZifon, made from recycled plastic bottles.
These products not only promote sustainability but also enhance the circular economy.
Participation in tree planting
The company’s executives participate annually in tree plantings of drought-resistant plants with low water requirements, which are suitable for the climatic environment of Greece.
Mobilization by our employees
Some of our employees are a source of inspiration with their decision to use electric and conventional bicycles for transportation. With this practice, they help reduce pollutant emissions and enhance their health and well-being.
